At my current job, I get off almost 2 weeks for a Christmas break. It is during this time that I try to get together with family and friends for lunches and holiday gatherings. I have to make time and be intentional to set up plans to spend time with people who are dear to me. I make time for people I love. I realize that I need to do this same thing with God. In Luke 17:12-19, we read how Jesus mercifully healed ten men who were lepers. Back in those days, lepers were outcasts of society. Can any of us say that we have never changed? No. The human existence is a series of growth, change, and maturity. We start as an infant and grow into an adult. We learn new things and gain wisdom. God, our Creator, is the One Who does not change. The Bible says in Malachi 3:6, " For I am the Lord, I change not..." God is an eternal being. He does not gain more wisdom as He goes.
