He Takes Good Care of Us

When you were a child, you needed a parent or caregiver to take care of you. Even your most basic needs for food and water, you were not able to meet for yourself. You were totally dependent on someone else to make sure you had what you needed in order to survive. It's a similar situation even as an adult. We may think we are self-sufficient sometimes, but actually, we still depend on God to provide everything that we have need of. God is the ultimate parent and he cares more deeply for you than anyone else ever could.

Why does God care for us so much? It is because of His great love for us. The Bible says in Psalm 93:4, "Mightier than the waves of the sea is His love for you." The waves of the ocean can get strong enough and tall enough to wipe out houses and cause terrible destruction, but God says His love for you is stronger than that. Another verse comes to mind when speaking of God's great love for us. It is one of the most well-known verses in the Bible. John 3:16 states, "For God so loved the world, that He gave His only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in Him should not perish, but have everlasting life." God cared for you so much that He sent Jesus Christ to die for your sins so that you could have eternal life in heaven. What a great love!

God cares about every need that we have. In Matthew 6:25-33 Jesus declares, "Therefore I say unto you, Take no thought for your life, what ye shall eat, or what ye shall drink; nor yet for your body, what ye shall put on. Is not the life more than meat, and the body than raiment? Behold the fowls of the air: for they sow not, neither do they reap, nor gather into barns; yet your heavenly Father feedeth them. Are ye not much better than they? Which of you by taking thought can add one cubit unto his stature? And why take ye thought for raiment? Consider the lilies of the field, how they grow; they toil not, neither do they spin: And yet I say unto you, That even Solomon in all his glory was not arrayed like one of these. Wherefore, if God so clothe the grass of the field, which to day is, and to morrow is cast into the oven, shall he not much more clothe you, O ye of little faith? Therefore take no thought, saying, What shall we eat? or, What shall we drink? or, Wherewithal shall we be clothed? (For after all these things do the Gentiles seek:) for your heavenly Father knoweth that ye have need of all these things.  But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and His righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you." God will give us everything we need as we serve Him. Philippians 4:19 also assures us, "But my God shall supply all your need according to his riches in glory by Christ Jesus." God has always met my needs, even when finances were difficult. He has always been faithful. Psalm 69:19 asserts, "Blessed be the Lord, who daily loadeth us with benefits, even the God of our salvation. Selah." Every day God is giving us blessings.

God also cares about our troubles. 1 Peter 5:7 encourages us, "Casting all your care upon Him; for He careth for you." Psalms 55:22 says, "Cast thy burden upon the LORD, and he shall sustain thee: he shall never suffer the righteous to be moved."  God wants to help you through all your problems and be your burden bearer.

Be encouraged today dear friend. God knows what you are facing and He cares for You. He is making a way, even if you can't see it yet. Keep walking by faith and trusting in God's great plan for your life.
