In the Old Testament, there was an animal called the scapegoat. This is recorded in Leviticus chapter 16. In Luke 17:12-19, we read how Jesus mercifully healed ten men who were lepers. Back in those days, lepers were outcasts of society. Can any of us say that we have never changed? No. The human existence is a series of growth, change, and maturity. We start as an infant and grow into an adult. We learn new things and gain wisdom. God, our Creator, is the One Who does not change. The Bible says in Malachi 3:6, " For I am the Lord, I change not..." God is an eternal being. He does not gain more wisdom as He goes.
