Help is on the Way!

Life throws a lot at us. Some things are great, and some things leave us reeling. Sometimes we try to be tough and internalize everything that we are going through. We may feel that we are being a burden if we ask someone to help us out. We may be too embarrassed or shy to ask for assistance. Everyone reaches a point in their lives where they need help from someone else. What a blessed assurance for us to know that we have a God who helps us when we can't help ourselves!

Psalm 121:1-2 says, "I will lift up mine eyes unto the hills, from whence cometh my help. My help cometh from the Lord, which made heaven and earth." If God made heaven, earth, and everything that exists, He can certainly help you in your time of need.

According to Psalm 46:1, "God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble." God is present in our times of trouble and He helps us! He doesn't leave us alone to figure out a solution--He is right there on the front line of the battle!

"Ye that fear the Lord, trust in the Lord: He is their help and their shield." Psalm 115:11. When we trust that God can help us in all circumstances that we face, it allows God to work in our lives. Sometimes things happen to us that we don't like, but we have to trust that God will work all things for our good like He promised in Romans 8:28.

Hebrews 4:16 declares, "Let us therefore come boldly unto the throne of grace, that we may obtain mercy, and find grace to help in time of need." We do not have to be scared or ashamed to ask God for help when we need it. We can come to Him boldly and ask for what we need!

God is everything that we need Him to be! He is our helper, shield, deliverer, Savior, friend, provider, healer, and way maker! He is only a prayer away. He is always with you.

Don't ever feel like you are going through something all alone. God is right there with you and He is your help!
