Ok, as a mom or teacher we have all been thru this, a child is constantly asking you, "Why?" Sometimes you give them an explanation, and sometimes you say, "Because I said so." LOL. Mommy has the final say, ending the conversation.
When we are young and learning, we look to our parents as a source of authority. Mommy and Daddy are older and wiser, so we ask them questions to gain a new understanding of the world around us.
I'll admit that I have treated God the same way. He is my Heavenly Father. He is the ultimate authority. He created the universe and everything in it--including me. So, when bad things happen, I ask Him, "Why?"
Sometimes the trials are to strengthen our faith in God. Sometimes we go thru things so that we can help others in that same situation down the road. Sometimes, we don't understand why bad things happen to good people; but we do know that all things work together for our good (Romans 8:28).
The real assurance comes in knowing that God is in full control of everything! GOD HAS THE FINAL SAY! No matter what is going on or how out of control your life feels, God has the final say! No matter what the doctor says, God has the final say! He can heal you in an instant! No matter what your bank account looks like, God has the final say! He can provide groceries, food, gas money, jobs, or whatever you have need of.
Don't let the devil bluff you into thinking that he is in control of your life. Yes, bad things may be happening to you, but God has the final say. God is in control of everything and He promised in 1 Corinthians 10:13 KJV Bible, "There hath no temptation taken you but such as is common to man: but God is faithful, who will not suffer you to be tempted above that ye are able; but will with the temptation also make a way to escape, that ye may be able to bear it." God will make a way of escape for you and won't let you be tempted beyond your ability. God has the final say about all of your trials!
You are God's beloved child and He has the final say about everything that happens to you.
