You Are Beloved (Christian Encouragement)

Updated: Mar 11, 2022

Hi, sister.

I see you, always putting everyone else before yourself. You are the first one up in the morning and the last one to go to bed at night. The kids need breakfast, there’s a Mount Everest of laundry awaiting you, and a trip to the grocery store too. Always on the go, something to do, another check mark to make on the daily "to do" list.

But how are you personally doing? How do you feel? Do you feel like you are really living, or are you just alive? Thriving, or just surviving? Overwhelmed or at peace? Full of faith or gripped with anxiety and fear?

Yes, life is hard. Sometimes life is ugly, messy, or even boring and repetitive.

I have good news for you—you are God’s beloved child! He loved you so much that He came down and died a cruel death on the cross so that you could have eternal life and peace with God. Could you imagine a king, someone who has everything, leaving it all behind to save the life of a peasant in his kingdom? That is precisely what Jesus Christ did for you! He left the beauty and peace of Heaven to come to this wretched and cruel world—for you!

The story didn’t end with the death of Jesus—He rose from the grave on that first Easter Sunday! He is alive today making intercession for us constantly.

All you have to do is accept what Jesus did for you. Romans 10:9 in the KJV Bible says, “That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised Him from the dead, thou shalt be saved.” Accept and believe. Simple as that.

Once you find the realization that you are God’s precious child, you can look at life through a different lens. No matter what happens, you have the assurance that God loves you. No matter what circumstances you are faced with in life, God is there with you, every step of the way. You never walk alone because God is there with you.

This constant presence of God doesn’t mean that life will be easy or that you will sail through life without the waves of adversity pounding against your ship. It means that God is with you in the ship, to help you navigate the waves of life. God is in control of every circumstance that you will face. He knows how you feel in the good times, and in the bad times. He sees the tears that you cry, and even hears your prayers that are unsaid. He is a friend that is closer to you than anyone else in your life ever could be. He made you, and you are beautiful in His eyes.

If you feel unappreciated, you are loved! If you feel lonely, you are loved! If you are divorced, you are loved! If you are widowed, you are loved! No matter what your situation is, you are loved by God!

So, relax! God’s got this! You are in the palm of His hands, and He is never going to drop you.

YOU ARE BELOVED!
